Welcome to Ponderosa Pine Lodge, a private mountain retreat near Angel Fire designed for family connection, comfort, and unforgettable mountain getaways. This spacious 2,800 sq ft lodge sleeps 10 and is ideal for multi-generational families, ski groups, couples traveling together, or nature lovers looking for peaceful surroundings, fresh mountain air, and room to spread out.

Inside, guests will enjoy warm lodge-style spaces with plenty of room to gather. The main living area features comfortable seating, a cozy fireplace insert, beautiful wood details, and relaxing forest views. The fully stocked kitchen makes family meals easy, and the coffee bar offers flavored coffees, hot cocoa, and teas for slow mountain mornings.

On the lower level, The Great Bear Family Room is perfect for movie nights, family game night, or relaxing after a day of mountain adventure. This comfortable gathering space offers plenty of seating, a large TV, and convenient guest-use amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, private mini fridge, and sink. Guests can make popcorn for movie night, warm up pizza, keep beverages cold, and enjoy easy snacks without heading upstairs.

Bear and Bird Loft — Located in the loft, this private king suite includes a king-size bed, TV, private balcony, walk-in shower, and cozy bear-and-bird décor inspired by the mountain setting.

The Great Bear Den — Located on the main level, this king bedroom includes a TV, private entrance from the deck, and warm bear-inspired décor.

Moonlight Bear Den — Also on the main level, this comfortable queen bedroom includes a TV, private entrance from the deck, a fireplace credenza, and charming bear décor.

Bear Hollow — Located on the lower level, Bear Hollow includes a queen-size bed, TV, and relaxing lodge-style bear décor for a peaceful place to unwind.

The Cub Cave — Located on the lower level, The Cub Cave features two twin beds and playful bear décor. This spacious shared room connects with the laundry area and is a great option for kids, teens, or extra guests.

Why We Love Ponderosa Pine Lodge

We fell in love with this property because of the peaceful mountain setting, the beautiful pine floors, the spacious rooms and the feeling you get the moment you arrive. Surrounded by tall pines, mountain views and wildlife, it offered the quiet escape we were looking for while still being close enough to Angel Fire to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

We purchased Ponderosa Pine Lodge as a place where our own family could slow down, spend time together and make memories in the mountains. We love mornings with coffee on the deck, watching for deer and other wildlife, days spent exploring the outdoors, and quiet evenings gathered together after the sun goes down.

There is something special about being away from the crowds, breathing in the mountain air and having room for everyone to relax and reconnect. We wanted to share that same experience with other families, and we hope Ponderosa Pine Lodge becomes a place where our guests make memories of their own.
